Returning from the weekend we found that the Perth Library workroom carpet was soaking. “What a time to choose to clean the carpets”, was our first thought but then it was discovered that a water pipe had burst and flooded the area. The smell was awful and our best efforts at cleaning up had little effect.
Now we will be getting new carpet, hope it is ready in time for the start of the new term.
