Getting Your Attention

There is so much good information in that blog that I have added a link to it from the blogroll in the sidebar.

How Cool is This?

There were some wonderful suggestions for the title of the Library blog. All Library staff were asked to nominate which one best reflects our Library and our aims and is also “cool”. These were the top suggestions.

1. The Fridge
   I think this would be a good name because we could put things like:
   “have a look whats in the fridge”
   “new items in the fridge”
   “any complaints/comment? – stick them in the fridge”
   “we’re defrosting the fridge”  (to advertise our booksale)

   I’m sure we could come up with lots of clever bits and pieces!!

6. anagram from library blog fun
   Brainy Bullfrog
7. anagram from library central blog
   Rabble Racing Trolly
8. Filibuster – ’cause it’s a cool word
9. Persiflage – light, bantering talk or writing / a frivolous or flippant style of treating a subject –  probably very apt
10. Something short and succinct … I’m going to suggest ‘Backchat’.  I think the ABC had a TV program with this name at one stage.
11. How about: Acronym Free Central TAFE LIbrary Blog (AFCTLB)?

The people who voted were unanimous in selecting The Fridge as their first choice, hence the name we now see on this site, and Giselle walked off with her first ever Yorkie chocolate bar as a prize.
